A fluid end inquiry can begin with a pump model, a drawing, a part number or an existing component. These are useful starting points, but they do not always identify the exact supply scope. Organizing the available information into the following five groups helps the first review reach the right technical path.
1. Identify the pump and fluid end
Provide the pump manufacturer and complete model together with any information that identifies the fluid end arrangement. Nameplate photographs, current part numbers, previous orders, assembly photographs and connection photographs can all support the review. If the equipment has been modified, state this at the beginning of the inquiry.
2. Define the requested supply scope
State whether the requirement is for a complete fluid end assembly, a body, a pump-specific repair kit or an individual replacement part. A clear scope allows the technical and commercial teams to prepare a corresponding list without assumptions.
3. Provide a drawing, part number or critical dimensions
Identify the drawing revision and units. When only an existing component is available, provide clear photographs of the overall part, ends, connections and markings, together with dimensions that can be verified. Similar-looking components can have different interfaces.
4. State service and quality-document requirements
Include any specified material, pressure, heat treatment, hardness, NDT, pressure test or delivery-document requirements. These items should be written into the technical clarification and order documentation rather than inferred from a general website statement.
5. Add quantity and delivery information
State quantity, destination, requested schedule and whether the inquiry is an urgent replacement, trial order, planned maintenance stock or recurring purchase. Dispatch from the Houston warehouse is discussed only after the relevant SKU and current stock are confirmed.

The information does not need to be complete at the first contact. Send what is available, and AOFIDE can identify the items that still need confirmation.
