Provide the slot size, construction and material requirements confirmed by the project design when ordering stainless steel wire-wrapped screens. Review slot size together with formation data, the gravel pack plan and well construction.
01Formation and gravel pack data
Provide sieve analysis, samples or a formation description. For gravel-packed wells, include gravel size and the design basis.
02Screen construction and dimensions
Confirm outside diameter, slot size and tolerance, effective length, support structure and strength requirements. Include special transportation, lifting or installation requirements.
03Materials
Specify material grades and applicable standards, together with water quality or corrosion conditions. Include existing project specifications with your inquiry.
04Lengths and connections
State individual lengths, quantities by section, thread or welding requirements, and connection dimensions for screens, casing, tailpipes and connecting components.
05Inspection and delivery
Provide drawings, quantities, slot and dimensional acceptance criteria, identification, quality documents, packaging and delivery sequence.
Final slot size, construction and materials must be confirmed from project data by the customer or a suitably qualified designer. This ordering checklist does not replace well design.
